Ecommerce web design
Ecommerce websites built around the transaction.
A product page that looks good but makes checkout hard loses the sale at the finish line. Ecommerce web design here means the whole path to payment, not just the storefront.
DHM supports ecommerce within a defined scope: lean product catalogues, digital products, small inventories, subscriptions, service or booking deposits, Stripe-connected payments, and Shopify-related integrations where appropriate, with abandoned-cart workflows where supported. Large catalogues, complex inventory systems, warehouse or ERP sync and 3PL integrations are custom scope, priced separately from the standard Conversion or Search-Ready products.
What fits the standard scope
- A small to mid-sized, lean product catalogue
- Digital products and downloads
- Subscriptions
- Service deposits and booking deposits
- Stripe-connected transactions
- Shopify-related integrations, where appropriate
- Abandoned-cart workflows, where the configured system supports them
- Mobile checkout, since most ecommerce traffic converts on a phone
What's custom scope
Large product catalogues, complex inventory systems, warehouse sync, ERP sync, 3PL integrations and enterprise-grade product feeds are not part of the standard Conversion or Search-Ready products. They're real, buildable work — just scoped and quoted separately, not folded into a fixed-price product that was never meant to carry that load.
Analytics and conversion
Ecommerce builds get the same conversion discipline as every DHM website: clear product pages, a checkout path that doesn't fight the visitor, and GA4 and conversion tracking that actually captures a completed purchase, not just a page view.
Questions we get
Frequently asked questions
Can a $500 or $1,500 website include a store?
A lean catalogue, digital products, subscriptions or deposit-based payments can fit within the standard products' scope. A large catalogue or complex inventory system is custom scope, quoted separately.
Do you build on Shopify?
DHM supports Shopify-related integrations where appropriate to the project. The right platform depends on the specific catalogue and workflow, and gets confirmed during scoping.
Is abandoned-cart recovery included?
Where the configured system supports it, yes, it can be part of the build. It's confirmed during scoping rather than assumed for every ecommerce project.
