No cost, no obligation
See your actual map coverage before you talk to anyone.
A hand-run geo-grid scan of your Google Map Pack visibility, your profile scored against our published 12-point checklist, and a plain-English note on what is capping you. Two to three business days.
The free Map Pack audit is a hand-run geo-grid scan of your Google Business Profile visibility across your service area for up to three keywords, plus your profile scored against our published 12-point checklist, a NAP consistency check across major directories, a review profile read, the competitive set currently holding your grid, and a note on whether AI assistants can verify your business. It takes two to three business days, costs nothing, and requires no access to your accounts.
What the audit covers
- Geo-grid visibility scan across your service area for up to three keywords, so you can see coverage rather than a single rank number.
- Profile score against the same 12-point checklist we publish, with the specific fields that are wrong.
- NAP consistency check across major directories, where your name, address or phone disagree with each other.
- Review profile read: count, average, recency and response rate, benchmarked against the businesses currently outranking you.
- Competitive set: who actually holds the grid in your area and what they are doing that you are not.
- AI verifiability check: whether assistants can currently confirm what your business does and where.
We do not need access to your Google Business Profile or website to run this. Everything in the audit is visible from the outside, which is rather the point.
Request the audit
We reply within two to three business days. Your details are never sold or shared. Privacy.
Why we give this away
Two reasons, both self-interested. First, most local businesses have never seen their own coverage map and are genuinely surprised by it: the gap between “I show up when I search my own name from my office” and what the grid shows is usually the whole conversation. Second, it filters. A meaningful share of the audits we run end with us saying the honest problem is somewhere else: an unanswered phone, a suspended profile, a service area that cannot be won from where you are. Finding that out costs us three days and saves both of us a quarter.
If you would rather just talk, book the assessment call instead. Same information, live.
What the audit is not
It is not an automated report. Instant-audit widgets pull a handful of API values, colour them red, and email you a PDF designed to make everything look broken. Those take four seconds and are worth about that much. This one is run by a person against your actual grid, which is why it takes two to three days and why it sometimes concludes that nothing much is wrong.
It is also not a disguised sales call. Roughly half the audits we run end with us pointing at a problem we do not solve: an unanswered phone, a suspended profile, a service area that cannot be won from where you are. Finding that out costs us three days and saves you a quarter.
What to do with the result
Most people should do three things with it, in this order. Fix the profile fields it flags, using the interactive 12-point checklist: those are free and they are the highest-impact items. Then read the 2026 ranking factors so the audit's language makes sense and you can evaluate anyone who quotes you. Then, if the gap is genuinely competitive rather than administrative, look at what closing it costs and decide whether the arithmetic works for your margins.
Questions we get
Frequently asked questions
Is the audit actually free?
Yes, and there is no obligation attached to it. We run it because it is the fastest way to show you what we would actually do, and because roughly half the businesses who request one turn out not to need us, which we would rather find out before a sales call than during one.
What do I get, specifically?
A geo-grid scan of your current Map Pack visibility across your service area for up to three keywords, your profile scored against the published 12-point checklist, a NAP consistency check across major directories, a review profile read including recency and response rate, and a note on whether AI assistants can currently verify your business. Delivered as a written summary, not a sales deck.
How long does it take?
Two to three business days. It is run by hand, not generated by a widget, which is why it takes longer than the instant-report tools and why it is worth more.
Will I get sales calls afterwards?
One follow-up email with the audit, and one message asking whether you want to talk it through. If you do not reply, that is the end of it. Your details are not sold or added to any list.
